DTH Billing and Customer Management Integration

Here you find the instructions on how to setup ClearBox Server properly so to integrate it with the DTH Billing system.

ClearBox Configuration

1. Make a backup copy of config.xml (its full path is <server installation folder>\AAA\config.xml). Name it 'config_copy.xml', for instance.

2. Run Configurator, which is found in the Start menu under ClearBox RADIUS Server, and open 'dth_billing_config.xml' file. Then save it as 'config.xml', replacing the old one.

3. Once Configurator is open, select "DTH" under the SQL Data Sources group. Type in the SQL Server name (i.e. replace MACHINENAME with your real server name), and a new user name and password, if they differ from the default ones (sa/dthadmin):

Next, click "Test Connection" to make sure that ClearBox can connect to the billing database. If that test is successful, click "Apply Changes" and close the application to save the configuration.

That's it for the change to ClearBox. All that needs to be done now is to restart the "ClearBox Enterprise Radius Server" service, which is found in the Windows Control Panel under Services.
